Accessibility Statement

SecurAvatars wants everyone, including people with disabilities, to be able to use this website. We are working to make it meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.

What we have done

• Text alternatives: images that convey information have descriptive alt text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
• Keyboard access: menus, dialogs, and buttons work with a keyboard, and a "Skip to main content" link is available at the top of the home page.
• Structure: pages use headings and landmarks so assistive technology can navigate them.
• Color contrast: body text is designed to meet WCAG AA contrast ratios against its background.
• Motion: a pause button in the top menu stops all animations and animated previews on the home page. They start paused when your device is set to prefer reduced motion.
• Focus: the element you are on when using a keyboard is shown with a clear outline.

Known limitations

• Embedded videos are hosted on YouTube, a third party. Captions and transcripts for both videos are available in the YouTube player. The install video’s steps are also listed in text next to it.
• The accessibility menu (the button at the bottom right) is provided by a third party, TabNav. Our site is designed to work without it.
